All audio recording and transcription happens locally on your device.

• We do not use your data to train our models.
• The underlying AI models run directly on your Mac's hardware.

3. Zero Data Collection

Almond doesn't need your data.

• No Sign-In: You don't need to create an account to use the app.
• No Analytics: We do not track your usage or collect any telemetry data.
• No Crash Reporting: We do not collect automated crash reports.
• No Text/Audio Collection: As mentioned, your words never leave your mac.

4. Third-Party Services

We use only one third-party service to facilitate our business:

• Polar: For secure license management and payment processing. All payment information is handled by Polar, and we do not store your credit card details or personal financial information.

5. Your Control

Because we don't collect any personal information or require an account, you have complete control. Your data lives and dies on your device. To delete your data, simply delete the recordings within the app or uninstall the application.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via email.
